4 Appetizers Recipes to Add to your Table this Ramadan

Ramadan is the perfect season to think outside the box and prepare mouthwatering recipes to enjoy during Iftar with your family and friends.
You don’t need to be a chef to give some joy to your tastebuds, so if you want to impress your guests, don’t miss out on these easy and delicious appetizer recipes!

Meatballs with sweet & sour sauce

• 1kg of Frozen Meatballs
• 5 tbsp Brown Sugar
• 1 ½ tbsp Vinegar
• 170ml Ketchup
• 180 ml Pineapple Juice
• 2 garlic cloves Garlic
• 1 tsp minced Ginger
Cut the garlic into small pieces, and add the full list of ingredients (except the meatballs) to a pan, mix them on low heat, and let them simmer for about five minutes. The texture of the sauce will become slightly thicker.
At the same time, fry or bake your meatballs until they get juicy and cooked through. Pinch the meatballs through skewers and serve them with the sauce as a dip. Enjoy!

Feta Cheese Dip

• 340gr Feta Cheese
• 1tbsp Greek Yogurt
• 1tsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Red pepper flakes
• Salt
• ½ cup chopped Cucumber
• ½ cup Cherry Tomatoes
Use a large bowl to mix by hand the feta cheese, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice until you get a well-combined mixture. Season with salt and red pepper flakes and serve in smaller bowls. Top the dip with chopped cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. It can be served with chips, pita bread, carrots, or any other side dish.

Garlic & Lemon Potato Wedges

• 5 potatoes
• 100ml chicken stock
• 1 cup lemon juice
• 2 garlic cloves
• 1 ½ tsp Salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp Oregano
Start by peeling and cutting your potatoes into wedges, and the garlic cloves into small pieces. Using an oven pan, put the chicken stock with the lemon juice in, and then add the cut potatoes. Season with the spices and thoroughly mix.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Take them out and mix them so they can be baked for 20 to 25 more minutes. Serve with your preferred sauce and enjoy!

Stuffed Bell Peppers

• ½ kg ground beef
• 6 big bell peppers
• 1 tomato
• 1 onion
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 100gr shredded mozzarella cheese
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 ½ tsp paprika
Season the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cut the tomato and the onion into small cubes. Cook the vegetables first, then add the ground beef to a pan on medium heat and cook until it is cooked and juicy.
Cut the bell peppers into halves and clean the insides. On an oven tray, stuff the bell peppers with the ground beef and bake them for about 30 to 40 minutes. Before removing them, add the mozzarella cheese on top until melted. Serve warm, and bon appetit!
